MANILA -- Singer Morissette Amon left for Busan, South Korea on Tuesday to represent the Philippines anew in the Asia Song Festival. She was accompanied by her mother Analie, talent manager David Cosico, representatives from Stages and RankOne Entertainment, as well as her whole glam team.

This is Amon’s second year to grace the prestigious song festival after her performance last year, which became a top-trending video on YouTube.“She was unanimously chosen again by the committee after her performance last year went viral worldwide and garnered the most number of likes on the popular Korean online streaming site V-Live,” said Gunwon Shin of the Asia Song Festival 2018.Amon is also the first Filipino artist to be given her own channel on V-Live.Her performance on October 3 at the Busan Asiad Stadium is highly anticipated because both Korean and Filipino fans have been guessing what songs she’ll be singing this year.

Amon’s manager Cosico, the COO of Manila and Canada-based RankOne Entertainment, opted to keep mum about the repertoire of his talent.

“She’ll perform something different, something she has never done before,” Cosico said. “This is her love offering to all her followers and listeners.

”Last year in the Asia Song Festival, Amon rendered Little Mix’s “Secret Love Song,” as well as a medley of “Best of My Love” and “Emotion.”

The “ASAP” regular recently bagged the Female Concert Performer of the Year award at the 2018 Star Awards for Music for “Morissette is Made,” her sold-out concert at the Araneta Coliseum, Cebu, Davao and Dubai, UAE.

Fans can download the V-Live app for the live streaming of Amon’s performance in Busan.
